Internet Gurus: Which Ones Can You Trust?

People who are new to the world of Internet Marketing face their first major challenge in deciding where to start. There are so many ways to make money online, and seemingly everyone and his uncle are trying to sell you their services as "Internet Gurus".

The bad news is that too many of these so-called gurus and not experts, or masters, or teachers at all. And the methods they sell are hit or miss --- sometimes they work, sometimes they don't.

A common pattern is for someone to be lucky enough to have a single success with one particular method, and then to set themselves up as an expert teaching others how to make money this way. One major problem with that is that it may have been a fluke, and may never work for that person again or for anyone else at all.

Alternatively, it may have worked at one time, but for one of many reasons it won't work any more, so you waste your money first by buying the product and second by putting the actual method into practice with no success.

This has happened to me enough times over the several years I've been selling information online. But there is good news.

The good news is that there are some good people out there who truly are Internet Gurus. They have been doing business online for a reasonable length of time (at least several years), and their methods are not "one-hit wonders" but tried and true methods they have perfected and that have worked for them consistently.

Here's another thing to remember: just because you know how to do something doesn't mean you know how to teach it to others. The other essential characteristic of a true Internet Guru is that he or she knows how to teach others their methods.

After years of trial and error, thousands of dollars spent and much of it wasted, extreme frustration and almost giving up on the whole Internet Marketing idea, I'm pleased to say I have found just a few Internet Gurus who are the real deal. I'm happy to spend my money with these people, becoming a member of their membership sites and buying their products, because I have been successful with their methods over time.

So my advice is not to give up on Internet Marketing, but to keep looking until you find the people you can really trust and learn from. You'll know they are the right ones, because you'll get results by using their methods.
